Doña Socorro and her daughter Diana found that reviving the gastronomic traditions of their grandmothers was a sweet business opportunity, to put an end to their economic problems and respond to the few employment opportunities that came their way.
Sweet aromas, honeyed textures, and vibrant colors are the characteristics that make up the unique flavors of the handcrafted preparations made by this mother and daughter, who through their recipes take us back to the past and give us a sweet and pleasant experience.
Dulces de la Abuela, with the support of the Acesco Foundation, has managed to bring tradition through its preparations to hundreds of homes throughout Colombia and, above all, to rescue and preserve these flavors full of stories and memories.
