Cándida Suarez, a widow and mother of 4 children, who, thanks to her knowledge of sewing and her interest in community work, came to the Acesco Foundation 4 years ago.
Her colleagues in the Colchas de Amor Program describe her as a supportive and committed woman, where she has found support that has allowed her to develop different activities in search of collective benefit; linking other women to be part of participatory and female empowerment processes led through the Acesco Foundation in Malambo.
