Oney: The perfect balance between art and the desire to get ahead.
Oney Huelvas was raised by his grandmother, however, due to family conflicts, he decided to become independent at the age of 15.
He joined the Acesco Foundation at the age of 12, inspired at such a young age by the performances of the Acesco Foundation Symphonic Band, and decided to become a member. From that moment on, his discipline, commitment, and excellent performance made him stand out.
He has worked in bakeries, neighborhood stores and various jobs; this is a brief account of the jobs he has had to resort to from his childhood to his adolescence in order to obtain his daily sustenance.
Currently, Oney is 18 years old and receives support from the Acesco Foundation, which allows her to study at the District School of Art and Acting in the city of Barranquilla. She also works for a recreation company, with which she travels throughout the country.
