In 2015, Viviana Atehortúa decided to create her company, "Crisálida," where she designs and makes dolls from recycled fabric scraps. Her dolls are inspired by sketches drawn by her six-year-old daughter, Helena, who ensures that each design is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Crisálida, more than a doll, is the story of a mother passionate about the talent and imagination of her little girl, who inspires every detail and every color.
Each doll carries a memory, tells a story, a feeling of family unity, an opportunity to unleash smiles and awaken tenderness.
