Delia: A story that put an end to resentment
The Foundation has allowed me to have a new life by being part of the Love Quilts program.
Proof that things can change for the better.
Delia Valega began her training process four years ago at the Acesco Foundation through the "Colchas de Amor" (Blankets of Love) program, as part of a personal healing and reconstruction process. Her experiences of domestic abuse prevented her from communicating assertively and establishing close bonds with those around her.
Today, after 4 years, Delia is extremely grateful to the Acesco Foundation for allowing her to see life in a different way, for adding meaning to what she couldn't see before, but above all because today she is able to react appropriately and manage to cope adequately with the difficult situations in her family and social environment.
