Santa Ana and San Juan Homes

Over the years, more than 500 teenagers have passed through the homes, managing to change their perception of life and transform their own story.

Spaces to fulfill dreams, plan lives, and rewrite stories.

Twenty-three years ago, thanks to the altruistic spirit of Doña Ana Aristizabal, mother of the founders of the Acesco company, who, concerned about the education of girls in the rural area of the municipality of Pensilvania (Caldas) who had nowhere to complete their high school studies, decided to join efforts and promote the creation of the Santa Ana and San Juan homes, spaces where girls from the countryside find a housing opportunity while continuing their academic training.

Over 500 teenagers have passed through the homes over the years, achieving academic training and developing a clear and strengthened life project with a view to transforming their own history and that of their families, breaking with traditional parenting patterns and schemes, demonstrating that rural women are the main protagonists in the construction of today's society.
